Hi! My name is Frank Easterling. I effectively blend military-grade work ethic and a quality assurance mindset to any problem your house faces. I treat property and equity the same way I treated signing off work on a fighter jet: as a matter of life or death. Although different industries, if a house is treated with this same fiduciary approach, everything runs smoother and is completed at a higher standard.
A 2009 graduate of Millard South, I joined the USMC in 2011 and as mentioned, I worked dually within aircraft maintenance and active flight operations (specifically I was an Aviation Ordnance Technician.) Unlike many other positions within the military, you can choose to take on progressive levels of quality assurance and supervision within your shop, regardless of your rank. I personally was a Team Leader first, and then a CDI (this means you can sign off work on aircraft or explosives as the final authority on that task.) In short, there are legal consequences if you screw up as a CDI.
It's been over ten years since getting honorably discharged, but in the time since, I have attained my Bachelor's in Marketing, and learned a whole lot about houses. I sold my first house flip in 2023 (check out 3707 Parker,) which was a construction success in and of the property itself, but also an unspeakably alarming budget flop.
In retrospect, this was because I was unknowledgeable in not just one, but all aspects of running a flip project, and allowed myself to be fleeced. Long story short, once I fired my "General Contractor" halfway through the project, I became one. (Although my class C license has since lapsed, come back to this site in a few months and it will be reinstated. If you require permit service in the meantime, I can forward someone qualified your way.)
Trades/tasks helpful to residential construction I am personally proficient at include but are not limited to: demolition, tile, drywall, cabinets, painting, flooring, masonry, windows (glass block ones too!) hanging doors, countertops, installing plumbing and light fixtures, swapping outlets......... I also have limited welding experience which helps out from time to time. For you: this means that I am incapable of getting overquoted by predatory subcontractors I need to bring on to complete things in a timely manner.
